Preparation & Drive Removal

Power down: Shut down the Drobo safely using Drobo Dashboard to prevent data corruption, then unplug the power and ethernet cords.
Remove faceplate: Pull off the magnetic front panel.
Extract drives: Pull the drive bay latches (or slide tabs) and slide each hard drive out. Label them with their slot numbers if you plan to reuse them in the same order.
